We often get asked how to add an application within NinjaRMM other than the integrated software packages. The way to do this is through setting a condition within the policy settings so we've built a really simple walk-through guide to show you how to get setup.

STEP ONE: GO TO NINJARMM POLICIES

Choose the relevant policy for the devices you want to ensure have a specific piece of software installed.

STEP FIVE: SELECT SOFTWARE

 Select software

The drop down menu will show a presence box (you can select that the condition will check if a software doesn’t exist or already exists on a device) and you need to add in a name tag for the action; click save.

The next drop down menu has options so that you can add in a Display Name and the Reset Interval for the condition. You can also choose whether you want to send notifications, with a severity and priority level and if you want to add a ticket using your PSA integration.

That concludes our walk-through guide on NinjaRMM and the adding software function. Follow those steps and you’ll be on your way to adding software to help you and your clients.
